After months of training, more than 16,000 Lumary City-Bay warriors – the most diverse group in the event’s 49-year history – are hitting the road this morning of the 2023 fun run.

Gawler grandfather and City-Bay legend Warren Gowland, 76, ran in the inaugural Lumary City-Bay Fun Run in 1973 and will return for the first time to walk the 6km race with his family by his side.
