You can easily find your bib number by using our dedicated bib search portal. Simply visit the portal here: Bib Number Search – Lumary City-Bay Fun Run and enter the required details to retrieve your bib number quickly.

No, there will not be any pacers provided for this event.

Please email us at admin@city-bay.org.au with your name, bib number, and any updated details that you would like to change. We will be happy to assist you in updating any incorrect information.

Please sign them up as a solo participant > follow the prompts > when asked which event, please select ‘carer’. There is a $5 admin fee for a carer. Please note that carers will not be timed and are soley there as a companion.  

Please email us at admin@city-bay.org.au with your name, bib number, and the team you’d like to join. We will be happy to assist you in adding you to the team.

If you have lost your race bib or it did not arrive due to an incorrect address, you will be required to purchase a replacement race bib at the expo. Please ensure you have mail redirection in place if you move house. The cost of a new Race Bib is $10.00.

Yes, all persons participating need to officially register if you want to walk or run the course.   

Please ensure you have checked your junk/spam folder for your confirmation email. If you can still not locate it, please email admin@city-bay.org.au and request to have your confirmation email resent.

We will begin the process of mailing out bibs in mid-August. As soon as your bib is dispatched, you will receive an email notification that includes your unique tracking number. This will allow you to monitor the delivery status of your bib.

During the first 24 hours, the timing results are considered provisional. If you believe your time is incorrect, please allow 24 hours for the system to fully update. If your time remains incorrect after this period, please email admin@citybay.org.au, and we will assist you in making the necessary corrections.

Team administrators can collect their teams’ bibs at the following date, time and location:

By registering for the City-Bay and displaying your race number, you can travel for free on the Glenelg Bay tram between the City and Glenelg. After the race, free public transport from Wigley Reserve will take you back along the same route to the City. On the day, shuttle buses to and from the City will also be available. If you opted to pick up your race number bib, please bring your confirmation email with you to one of the designated times and locations listed below. Please note that there is separate bib collection for teams and individual participants:

Please be aware that bib collection will not be available on the day of the race, and any race numbers that are not collected beforehand will result in disqualification from participating in the event.

If under 16, they must be accompanied by an adult. Waiver forms will appear when registering a minor. These forms must be filled out before the system will allow you to register.

Absolutely, visit our City-Bay office in Mile End to complete you’re in-person registration, or call our office to register over the phone (please have your credit card information ready).

Alternatively, you can also register in person at the Expo/Bib Collection event on September 12th, 13th, or 14th at Hindmarsh Square.

 

We don’t offer refunds, however, you can transfer your number if you know of anybody else who would like to take part. Please send an email to our customer service team – admin@city-bay.org.au – and they will be able to assist you with processing the change. In the email please include the full name on the registration, your current event and the details of the person you wish to transfer to. No admin fee applies for race changes.

If you register and pay on or before 18 August, you will have the option to select Express Postage (for a fee of $13.50) or you can choose to pick up your race number bib from the City-Bay Fitness & Leisure Expo which will be held in Hindmarsh Square. If you register after 20 August, you must collect your race pack from the City-Bay Fitness & Leisure Expo.

Please note, if you opted for your numbers to be delivered by Express Post, the race number bibs will be posted the week commencing 19th August – after the Express Postage option has closed.

No, you cannot run if you are registered as a walker. If you want to run and walk the course, then please register as a runner.

Yes, you can change your distance. Please send an email to our customer service team – admin@city-bay.org.au – and they will be able to assist you with processing the change. In the email please include the full name on the registration, your current event and the event you wish to change in to.

Yes, if you cannot make it to the City-Bay Bib Collection, then you can have somebody collect your race number bib on your behalf. They will need your first and last name, the event you are participating in and your bib number.

All children, except those in a pram, who walk or run in the event, must be officially entered (and appropriate fee paid). Children in prams can accompany walking adults without completing an entry form or incurring an entry fee; they are not officially entered in the event, and will not receive a race number or a time.

Please remember running with a pram is not allowed but walking is ok.

Children are not allowed to ride bikes or scooters, wear skates, etc.

Each wheelchair participant can bring a carer for a $5 entry fee (carer numbers are not timed); please refer to the carer question below for details.

Upon registration you will be able to select the ‘carer’ option. There will be a $5 admin fee applied.

Your number will only be issued upon receiving proof of identification, such as a companion card or an official letter from your affiliated disability organisation. You can do this at the City-Bay Fitness & Leisure Expo or scan a copy to info@city-bay.org.au. If you select ‘postage’ you will be unable to proceed to the payment screen until this has been completed.

There are prizes for ‘best fun dressed-up individuals and groups’. Parade and presentation are at the main stage stage at 11.30am.

If you or your group will be incorporating additional objects in your ‘theme’ such as wheelbarrows, beds, etc please click here for the additional objects policy.

As a team, your members don’t need to participate in the same event category. Members will be considered part of your team regardless of whether some walk or run, do the half-marathon, 12km, 6km or 3km.

Yes, as long as groups do not promote their sponsors in conflict with any City-Bay Fun Run sponsors.

For example, wearing a T-shirt displaying a sponsor’s name is allowed, but displaying placards, signs, or other promotional materials during the event is not permitted.

Any promotional materials such as brochures, posters, media promotions, or other forms of advertising must receive approval from the Event Manager before being released to the public or supporters.

Additionally, the sale of products, food, or beverages during the event is strictly prohibited.

Certificates of Merit are awarded to age group winners, you may think it unlikely that you may win one – but you never know. It is also important for statistics – you will be classified as a 99yr old if you do not supply your birth date.

Only guide/assistant dogs are allowed.

Please attach your bib to the front of your clothing using safety pins, ensuring it is clearly visible throughout the race. This will allow you to easily access your photos and retrieve your timing results without any issues.
