Transport to and from the Event

TRAMS:(Please do not leave it to the last minute to get to the start)

To the City from Stop 15 (Brighton Road) for the start:
Trams will commence operation from Stop 15 (Brighton Road) for the start every 7 1/2 minutes from 6:20am until 10:00am and every 6 minutes between 10am-2pm.
Trams from Moseley Square will depart every 10 minutes from 2-3pm.


If leaving Glenelg after 7:30am – please catch the bus provided at the tram stop (Maxwell Terrace) as his will take you closer to the start area, adjacent to the Railway Station on North Terrace.
Trams will terminate at Rundle Mall at 7:50am and South Terrace between 7:50 and 10:00am.

Trams from the City: (from Adelaide Entertainment Centre)
Trams will run a 10 minute service from 6:40am til 10:00am to Adelaide Railway Station. Between 10am-3pm there will be a high frequency from the City to Glenelg.

At 3:00pm then return to a normal timetable service.

Do not expect to travel on these buses without a ticket. People using regular public transport bus & train services must use a valid metro ticket, vouchers cannot be used on these services

BUSES:

Forward trips to city prior to run:

First shuttle buses will be leaving at 6:30am from Wigley Reserve and Maxwell Terrace arriving at Adelaide Railway Station via the 3 and 6k starts. Forward trips will continue until 8:00am. Return Trips to Glenelg commence at 7:00am form the Railway Station.
NEW: Shuttle bus on the north/east corner of North Terrace and King William Street will shuttle to the tram stop at South Terrace.

Return trips to city after run:

First buses ready to depart Wigley Reserve and Maxwell Terrace will start (approx) 9:30am. Return Trips will continue as required until (approx) 1pm.

NOTE: Access to the 6k start will be limited after the event until Marion Road and ANZAC Hwy are opened at (approx) 10:00am. These buses will stop at the 3k & 6k starts, as necessary
